I have had these lyrics in my head for a while now, but I didn’t know what kind of song they would go well with. Last night I was left alone in the studio with beer. You know how dangerous that can be. So here it is, an in your face bluegrass with yours truly on vocals and my Christmas present from my wife, a Rondo SX Tele The backing tracks are straight from the BGShakr-bluegrass w shaker RT style with no modifications. The lyrics are this, plus or minus a few words: I Sit, Shave and Shower Chorus: I sit, shave and I shower The whole process takes about one hour But when I leave that room I feel professionally groomed Because I sit, I shave and I shower. Verse 1: People who know me think this is kind of weird Because I’ve always had a beard A secret I’ll let you in I shave under my chin When I sit, I shave and I shower. Verse 2: My wife and I well sometimes we fight And on occasion I might not be right She says today you didn’t sit Because you are full of it But I did just before I shaved Chorus: Verse 3: My friends bet me I couldn’t sing this song Without getting at least one word wrong Now they are having a fit Because I always sang sit When I sang sit, shave and shower Chorus:
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Mario,
As Pat mentioned great play on words in the lyrics. Sounds like this would be a hit at the the Grand Old Opry. You and "Grandpa Jones" would have been had a blast with it.
Tripe S seemed like it was old military buzzword. There was another one for breakfast or mid-night meals.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanx guys for listening and the comments, they are greatly appreciated. Danny, the Tele is really nice. As a matter of fact I have a friend who has a $3,000 Fender Tele and after hearing and playing mine said he wasted $2,890! Last December this was only $110! But now I see it is up to $125, http://www.rondomusic.com/furrianmnashnat.htmlBut that is still a super deal. The only thing I had to do was to lower the action via the bridge. Note I did nothing to the neck. I hope this helps!

Beer? The Pabst Blue Ribbon Grass Band?
Cute tune. We can all relate to facing the big 3 every morning......
I smashed the hell out of my car today. When the cops came I told him "Officer, that guy was BOTH texting and drinking a beer." The cop said "Sir, he has every right to do that. I mean, it's HIS living room..."
