Greetings Forum Friends!

First, thanks for sharing all your great music. It never ceases to amaze me the talented folks who frequent this site. Sorry I can't spend more time commenting. Usually, by the time I get to a new song, everyone has said it all already.
Second, thanks to PGMusic for creating such a wonderful software package and support team. You make it so easy and fun to write and record our songs.
Finally, I just posted three new songs to Soundclick. The first one I'd like you to hear is called, "For the Love of the Game." It's a song about how a short walk in the park with a friend started the love of my life. I wrote it in a 1930s swing style trying to capture the quaint feel of our national passtime.
No RealTracks on this one, just RealDruns. I'm playing the keyboard, singing, and whistling.
I welcome your comments and I hope you enjoy the song.

SpaceDog,

You really captured time of the music, even with your vocals.
It is such a happy song also, along with your story telling.

The deepness of your voice going down is a very nice touch.
Also the whistling, who'd a thunk that would make such a nice touch.

I've listened three times, such a nice song, your piano sounds
good in the song.

You've created a great piece of music for all of us and especially your
partner.

Thanks for your hard work and sharing with us!

Josie,
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I studied the music of the era to learn the typical chord changes and rhythms and did some experimenting to get the "megaphone" sound. It was fun.

Good tune. It captures the laid back, summer time feel of baseball. Good lyrics. And hats off to BIAB!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
