40 nowych funkcji Band-in-a-Box 2009 dla Windows
• Dodano wielką liczbę nowych RealTracks oraz nowy dysk MIDIs stylów #77 (UKPop). Zostały dodane także RealCharts – prawdziwa muzyczna , oraz wyświetlenie gitarowe na ekranie dla wielu RealTracks. To pozwala słyszeć wykonania audio oraz widzieć i uczyć się z notacji na ekranie, z tabulatury i gryfu gitarowego na ekranie.

Większość RealTracks pokazuje notacje dla granych nut. Niektóre gitarowe RealTracks pokazują dodatkowo gitarową tabulaturę i gryf gitary. RealCharts może być zapisane do pliku MIDI lub Utworów (MGU).

Instrumenty które mają RealCharts, zostały dokładnie przedstawione w dialogu Przypisywania RealTracks do ścieżek - określa to kolumna 11. Instrumenty z „N” lub „Gt” mają RealCharts.
- Instrumenty z “Gt” mają RealCharts z dokładną gitarową tabulaturą i ekranem gryfu.
- Jeżeli Instrument taki jak Acoustic Piano ma “N” to znaczy że posiada Jazz piano RealChart.
- Innne instrumenty z „N” (Pedal Steel, Slide Gitara, Resophonic, Trąbka, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax) posadają standardową notację RealCharts.

- Zapis RealTacks: Jeżeli ma RealTracks a nie posiada RealCharts wówczas u góry ekranu ścieżka ma tylko zieloną nazwę
- Zapis Real Instrument: Jeżeli ścieżka ma zapis RealChart, to nazwa ścieżki jest podkreślona krótką linią
- Zapis RealGuitar: Jeżeli gitarowa ścieżka ma zapis RealChart z tabulaturą i ekranem gryfu, to zielona nazwa jest podkreślona długą linią.

RealCharts mogą być zapisywane do plików MIDI lub utworów Band-in-a-Box songs (MGU). RealCharts są opcjonalne i wybierane w Ustawieniach RealTracks w Preferencjach. Możliwe jest zastosowanie jedengo z poniższych ustawień:
“Pokaż notację RealCharts ze stylami i utworami” pokaże RealCharts generowany przez styl i utwórr zapisany w RealTracks.
“Pokaż notację RealCharts dla Solistów” pokaże RealCharts które były generowane przez dialog Wyboru Solistów.
“Zapisz RealCharts w pliku MIDI” zapisze RealChart do ścieżki MIDI którą będziesz mógł analizować w innych programach
“Zapisz RealCharts w Utworze BB (MGU)” zapisze informacje RealChart MIDI do pliku MGU.

Wzbogacony Magik Audio Akordów
Akordy mogą być edytowane w magiku Audio Akordów. Znaczniki partii, symbole akordów, tonacja i strojenie mogą być zapisane w Band-in-a-Box i przekazywane do i z Magika Akordów.

Kliknięcie na klawisz RealTracks, wyświetli okienko z biografią artystów w prawym górnym ekranie. Klikij na to okno aby je powiększyć.
Użycia klawisza “Wiecej informacji tutaj…” pozwoli uzyskać więcej informacji o danym artyście ze strony pgmusic.com.

Zamrożenie Utworu (dla szybkiego odtwarzania)/Odmrożenie Utworu
Istnieje funkcja zamrożenia aranżacji utworu. Konwertuje to utwór do audio który będzie odtwarzany na ścieżce audio, w czasie kiedy inne ścieżki są wytłumione. Jest to gwarancją szybkiego odtworzenia utworu bez konieczności czekania na generowanie RealTracks.

Funkcja Zamrażania jest użyteczna dla ludzi, którzy grają z programem na żywo oraz wtedy gdy jesteś zadowolony z aranżacji i nie chcesz czekać na generowanie dodatkowych ścieżek. Nawet długi utwór z wieloma RaelTracks będzie odtwarzany w ciągu kilkiu sekund, gdy wcześniej zamrozisz aranżacje

User Tip: How to add drum fills without changing any other tracks
MarioD has shared some great advice when it comes to adding drum fills without changing any other tracks in your song:
There have been a number of questions asking how to add drum fills without changing any other tracks in a song. This is especially important if one is holding a chord for a few measures and wants to add a drum fill prior to the next chord. The following is how to accomplish that:
1-get the instruments/tracks to play like you want but don't worry about the drums for now.
2-generate the song.
3-freeze all tracks
4-unfreeze the drum track
5-add your fills where you want them
6-generated the song again - note this will only generate the drum track and not the frozen tracks
7- when you get the drums like you want them freeze the track
