ADJUSTING THE VOLUME of PUSHES, SHOTS and HOLDS in BIABNote: this Tips file is compiled from advice given by Peter Gannon to several individual posters. I thought it would be helpful to collect and post this in
Tips and Tricks. Please report any errors.
MIDI Tracks 1. For MIDI tracks, go to Opt., Preferences, Arrange.
2. You can boost the velocity (adds to loudness) of pushes, shots and/or holds in the first three fields.
3. Only positive integers are accepted; you cannot decrease the velocity.
4. Remember, these settings only affect MIDI tracks.
5. These settings are global (apply to all MIDI tracks).

For Pushes: Adjust Push Velocity
For Holds and Shots: Adjust Shot Velocity
Note: these settings are global (apply to all RealDrums).

The edits get saved to two files:
So, if you do make changes, you should make a copy of these two files in case an update overwrites them.
PG Music welcomes specific suggestions if you believe there is an imbalance in a particular RealTrack, like "make the holds 3 dB quieter for RT# 1045”. They can change the master file if they agree.
