Just finished another new one, called All I Know. All the instruments are Realtracks/Realdrums, with some strings added. All the vocals are me. I hope you enjoy it!

All I Know

Here are the lyrics...

All I Know
Words and Music copyright Stephen W. Young

Standing there in the middle of my heart
The vision of a dream come true
Like a pretty picture, or an old post card
Reminders of happy times with you

All I know is that the sun shines brighter when you're next to me
I know the grass is greener right here our my own back yard
I know that love is more than a dream, it's reality
All I know is we were meant to be
And all I know is good enough for me

I try to think of ways to let you know
Just how I feel when you're around
I can't seem to find the words to show
Beyond what I can comprehend

All I know is that the sun shines brighter when you're next to me
I know the grass is greener right here our my own back yard
I know that love is more than a dream, it's reality
All I know is we were meant to be
And all I know is good enough for me

Steve,

Wonderful through and through (as always). Beautifully written song - lyric and melody.
Great vocal and harmony (as always). Your use/choice of RealTracks is ALWAYS so nicely done. The low-volume accordion in the background is a brilliant idea (that sounded like something Noel would say, didn't it!). And the tasteful mix of guitars and mandolin is... well,... tasteful!!!

And like Josie said... that intro is sweet.

The whole track has such a wonderful flow.

Well I absolutely did enjoy it.
I agree with everyone else that this is top notch stuff! Excellent in every aspect.
For some reason every time it goes to the chorus... I just wanna smile.
Great job Steve!

Hey Steve,

If you could look through my monitor right as this moment, you'd see me sitting here with an incredibly impressed look on my face. This is an outstanding song: lyrics, melody, arrangement, production and mix. That first line of the chorus is dynamite. It really packs an amazing punch.

In my opinion, this is songwriting at its absolute best.

All the best,
Noel
