It tempted me to make the Vocaloid voice of Avanna sing in a different language. So I taught her Latin. I think she is doing a good job, nearly as good as Celine Dion who sings a version of this song, too. This is an arrangement of Charles Gounod's "Ave Maria" based on the prelude No 1 by J.S. Bach. The chords can be found in BIAB's Classical Midi-Fakebook2. Well, that's quite fascinating! How many of vocaloid voices do you have?
It actually sounds pretty good. I went to the internet to find out more about, it looks like a pretty big deal around the world.

Utterly stunning!! At times the harmonies are VERY "Man Tran". Guenter - I am blown away!! Even the Sax, which I didnt think would be a possible fit when I read your prose, is a wonderful fit. cheers ian

Hi Guenter,
This is absolutely incredible! Like Ian above, "Stunning" was the word that sprang up in my mind with neon lights flashing all around it. I love the solo voice; I love the arrangement; I was spellbound throughout.
Every time I listen to one of your songs, it's like you take musical invention to a whole new and previously undiscovered level of creativity. I'm continually amazed by your ability.
WOW!!! Noel

Guenter,
You have to stop now.
We've run out of superlatives.
STUNNING. AMAZING. See... I'm just repeating now....

Hi Kemmrich, Ian, Noel, Alyn, Floyd and Josie,
thank you all for your overwhelming comments.
@Kemmrich: I have only one Vocaloid voice "Avanna". The Megpoid Gumi (evaluation) has expired.
@Ian: What is "Man Tan"? I can't find it in my dictionary.

The great (and bad) thing about vocaloids is they don't need to breathe. I would like to have heard a little more human phrasing in there.
I wouldn't call this latin (more like hip hop?), but really enjoyed it anyway.

Hi Richiebee, in my last song I used a lot of time to make Avanna breathe. Nobody seemed to notice it. At least nobody mentioned it. So this time I didn't care. Latin is not the style but the LANGUAGE! Still glad you enjoyed it. Guenter

Latin is not the style but the LANGUAGE! Ha! My bad. I work at a classical music school. Should have known better. R.

All been said. An amazing display of high tech music. I've got to take the time to read about the Vocaloid.
