Michie, I really liked this one. The fiddle break is especially interesting. Sort of a break tempo. Good job.

Hi, George !

This sounds like an real "oldie"
and IMO I think this could have
gone surprisingly well as a
barbershop arrangement also ?
I enjoyed this one really much !

Cheers
Dani

This is so cool Michee.

Love the ol' soft shoe vaudeville vibe.

Fun listen. Enjoyed it.

Very well done, love the style and your voice is outstanding in it. Kind of has old country sound, like Jim Reeves to me. Thanks for sharing!

Don - Fit like min'

I tried to make a style and song that would sound kinda like a old Dixiland style.
I failed to do that but quite liked this style.
I added the fiddle to noodle around just to add interest.
-------------------------------------------------------
Dani - Fit like min' (this means - in Doric - How are you doing) smile

Thanks for saying that it sounded like an Oldie.
I was trying to get the oldie sound.
I may try your suggestion about a barbershop arrangement. smile
------------------------------------------------------------
Mike B - Thanks for taking a listen.

And of course for commenting that you liked it.
----------------------------------------------------
Josie - Hi Thanks for taking a listen.

Glad you liked the ol' soft shoe vaudeville vibe. smile

George,

Fun song. I like the fiddle, too. Your vocals fit well on this one, as well. I enjoyed!

George,

Nicely done. (and cute!). Like Josie said - a "soft shoe vaudeville" feel to this...

Enjoyable and interesting listen. I agree with the couple of "soft shoe" references. Very good use of the fiddle. Thanks for the post.

George,

It's all been said but the only thing missing that would have had me sitting in that old theater was a little crowd noise in the background.

As already in envisioned you in that "seersucker suit" with a straw hat just soft shoeing around that stage.

Good job.

I can see the fiddler playing when I listen to the song.
Never thought about a theater act laugh

Thanks for taking a listen.

A BIG +1

This has a happy old time feel to it.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
