When you play a melody/solo by using the Thru channel in live mode, you may need to switch a patch very quickly. In practice, you have not time enough to access the higher banks, by clicking on the + sign to open the PAT file and to scroll up to the wanted patch.
For example, you may need to get a patch#1 for the 8 first bars of melody. Then you may need a patch#2 for the 8 following bars and to switch back to patch#1 for the chorus.

The idea would be to set a list of preset patches with LSB/MSB data (let us say 8 user favorite patches), patches which could be called out for example by the numerical keys of the PC keyboard. So, the feature would be Favorite patches for Thru channel with remote access.

We can also imagine, as an user option, that the patch presets would be stored with the song, and so they could be called out each time you open a BIAB file. In live gigs, you open a BIAB song ; automatically the patch preset list you have done is loaded. You are ready for your performance with your familiar presets.

This feature would be very useful for gigs. It would add extra musicality by adding color changes in the performance, and would avoid the boring same patch we often hear for the melody/soloist parts. So, we could get great BIAB arrangements in gigs.
