Hallo Ernst,
ich habe die Vollversion von BB 2013 auf win xp 32bit.
Nun habe ich eine parralel Win7 64 bit Installation aufgesetzt.
Gibt es die Möglichkeit die Realdrums und RealStyles nicht neu installieren zu müssen sondern BB den Pfad zu zeigen wo die Daten sind?
Bei der Masse Materieal würde ich gerne von beiden win Installationen die selben wave Daten nutzen was theoretisch möglich ist weil die nat. nicht auf c:\ rumliegen sondern auf einer anderen Partition. Bekannt ist ja den Datenordner in BB zu bennenn. Aber kann man auch nur die Styles installieren? Und BB kommt damit dann zurecht?
Bei VST Plugins anderer Hersteller ist das ja kein Problem.
Bitte um Antwort.
Ursprünglich wollte ich ja ein Update abwarten und dann eine Version auf Festplatte kaufen die ich mir in den Rechner schraube und gut wärs.
Nun ist dies aber das Jahr wo BB seit langem kein x.5 Sommerupdate bietet. Wer weiß warum. Ich hoffe nichts schlimmes.(So Übernahmekram wie wir es ja von anderen Firmen kennen)

Unter Optionen Voreinstellungen gibt es jeweils den Button Realtracks und RealDrums.
Hier kann man dann den Realtracks und RealDrums einen eigenen Speicherort zuordnen.
Vor Verwendung sollte man in diesem Dialog noch den Update-Button drücken

Hallo Ernst,
so einfach geht das ebend leider nicht.
Ich habe es dennoch versucht aber nun wieder komplett gelöscht.
Sämtliche .xt2 und st2 files fehlen in BB und somit findet er die styles nicht. Auch nach dem rüber kopieren von XP zu win7 von diesen tausenden dateien ins BB Stammverzeichniss sagt er mir zwar unter der Option "Welche Ergänzungen habe ich" das alle da sind. Aber im Style Picker hat er sie zwar aber ohne die wma Dateien und kann sie somit nicht laden.
Nach allen angewendeten Tricks zeigt er mir auf Win7 795 Styles, auf Win XP 3358 Styles.
Ich gehe davon aus das man doch alles Neu installieren muß.
Nun noch eine Frage.
Reicht es wenn man die letzte Version 2013 installiert oder muß man dann von ungefähr BB 2009.exe anfangen. Sind in den .exe dateien auch styles die dann korrekt installiert werden und die man dann vermisst wenn man nur 2013 installiert und dann die realtracks step by step nach installiert.
Denn es geht ja auch um die Midifiles.
Ich freue mich auf eine ANtwort.

Hallo Ernst,
so nun habe ich meine Lösung selber gefunden.
Da BB ein riesieges Programm ist, also mit Files ca. 100 Gb und nur das Programm aber 10Gb, habe ich es damals schon bei win xp komplett auf E:\ installiert. Nun habe ich nach reichlicher Überlegung die Anwendung BBw einfach mal bei WIn7, das ja auch auf E:\ zugreifen kann, aus dem Programmordner bei E:\ gestartet.
Und siehe da es läuft und hat alle Files zur Verfügung. Keine Fehlermeldung, nichts. Nun habe ich eine Verknüpfung der o.g. Datei auf mein Desktop gelegt und alles ist gut.
Und das komplett ohne Installation auf Win7. Ich hatte echt gedacht das die Programme auch wenn man sie sonstwo installiert die ein oder andere Information an Windows schreiben müssen. Offensichtlich nicht.
Ja so einfach ist das, schade nur das ich das wieder selber rausbekommen musste und mir das keiner sagen konnte.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
