Scott,

Nicely done. The guitar is enjoyable. The drums seem a bit low in the mix - like you are almost trying to hide them. Guitar players often do that (I'm not picking on ya..). Let your drummer be part of your band.

Another thing you might do is, somewhere in the middle, include one other RT solo - like maybe a harmonica - even just 4 bars - to break up the guitar...

Herb and Floyd

Thank you for the comments on the song.

I haven't figured out how to take clips of the solo's and place them in areas of the song yet. BIAB has quite a vast set of tools built in. Need to spend sometime with the manual and self help sites.. Good for when the old hands get sore :-)

Hi Scott

I really enjoyed this piece. Mellow, soulful and thoughtful. Yes, maybe the percussion could be lifted a little bit, but perhaps that balance was also your intention. Very sensitively presented, and representative of your own personal moment.

Great work.

Scott,

From time to time I have issues with soundcloud, this is one of those times. I will try back later.

Nice tune – very emotional, well done!
And the organ patch…, I do understand why you love it – it's beautiful!

Danny. Thanks for trying. I too experience issues with Soundcloud from time to time. I usually use Chrome for most of my browsing. If I switch to firefox or IE 10 I can usually get the songs to start.

Robert and John: Thank your for the comments on the song. I appreciate them. Most of my music has only been heard by my immediate family. I was very nervous putting them up in the forum and soundcloud. This has been a very rewarding experience and I am learning allot especially on the production side...

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
