Chrome has ALWAYS perfectly worked in every platform.

I just don't get why anybody would use anything else?

Had the same problem with IE 11 x64. An update was released last week that seems to have addressed the problem. In the meantime, using Chrome.

Same freezing problem here, but its on youtube.I have gone back to ie10, control panel, programs and features, view installed updates---> uninstall ie11.

After restart you are back on 1e10.

I use all the browsers mainly ie and chrome, but do like to have them working ok.

Solved this here, by ticking 'use software rendering instead of GPU rendering' in the advanced tab of Internet Options

I did not have a problem with this website but after loading IE11 onto a Windows 7 64-bit laptop, the YouTube webpage kept freezing and crashing. From the MS messages I got, it looks like Microsoft has given up on solving the problem. Eventually, I found a solution that worked for me but I am not sure how it will affect other web pages because I do no know much about Shockwave Flash Objects. Anyway, this was the solution I found:

Quote:
If you get the message “YouTube.com is not responding” after installing IE11 on a Windows 7 computer: Click on “Tools” then “Internet Options”, “Programs” and then click on “Manage Add-Ons” then click on “Shockwave Flash Object” and click “Disable”. Finally click “Close” then “Ok”.

BTW, there are many, many reasons why people do not use Chrome or any other Google products (Yeah, I know YouTube is one of theirs). There is too much uncontrolled and misleading advertising which wastes my time. Plus their tracking and recording of my internet use is an invasion of privacy. They should go back to the original format for their various applications otherwise people are going to leave Google in droves. Actually, they already are!

Careful with that solution I quoted. It cured the YouTube problem but created problems elsewhere with non YouTube videos.

In IE 11 try hitting the F12 key. Then check the Browser mode and Document mode settings. You may not be using what you think you are! Look for Compatibility mode and don't use it. Or maybe try it if it isn't 'auto-enabled' already. Try setting back to IE10 mode this way (using F12).

I've seen IE11 fix a couple things IE 10 broke, and break a couple things that worked in IE10 .. IE9 seems pretty stable though, comparatively speaking.
I can't believe how many are still using IE8, I wish they would stop. Then I wouldn't need some of the If statements I currently have to worry about.

Gone back to IE 10 on my two machines, no further issues. It,s easy to do, just go to Programs and features in control panel, then view installed updates then delete IE11, Windows reverts back

Zero

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
