This is a R&B tune about my first wife. Nuff said there. Luckily, the second was a keeper - 21 yrs and counting.

My vocals and guitar. As always, comments/suggestions encouraged.

Hi, Tommy !:))

I liked the tune more than the action you are describing !
I never had that problem with my Beni so I am very happy
for you to have found the one you hopefully will be able to share
the rest of your life with ! :)) How hard isn´t it, I mean to find a true love,a really true love ? and when you have found it and lost it,
how deep rooted isn´t the pain ?

I like it when people really put their emotions in motion
and write tunes from the bottom of their heart as you have done here !

Cheers
Dani

Hey Tommy,

This is very different from what I've come to anticipate from you. I really like it.

To my ears, the song is a very strong write, music and lyrics. I particularly liked the chorus and the fact that you used the consonant sound of 'n' as the rhyming device. Rhyming 'again' with 'been' with 'violin' was very effective in boosting the emotionality of the lyrics.

All the best,
Noel

Tom,

You jazzy guy, you!.... There's kind of an 80's vibe to this - pop-y...
(but there's still "country" in your voice)...

Nice "outside the box" for you. A catchy chorus (could have used some girls singers in the background...).

I'm still hearing it.. it really is catchy.

floyd

Hi again, Tommy,

I forgot to mention ...

The rhyme scheme you've used in the chorus is EXACTLY the sort of device that floyd would use and we all know how brilliant his material is smile

Regards,
Noel

Very cool Tommy. Being a very prompt person, other people who are perpetually late drive me nuts....

Good job. The electric piano gave it a jazz feel.

Topic that many can relate to. Fortunately, I have a good wife.... we've been together for 32+ years.... married for 30.

floyd, My daughter and grandkids live up your way , so that beer might just happen some day. Thanks for your comments. Catchy can be elusive when you try to find it,

but when you're not looking for it there it is.

Joanne, Thanks for not being late.

Herb, Thanks for listening and commenting. I always look forward to what you have to say.
