Hi, folks ! Tired of Life ? No, every now and then one has to freak out. That is what I have done here with my first ever hard rock instro. I am not a good guitarrist and my Ovation Celebrity acoustic really would need new strings, but I happened to find the dirtiest possible Amps so.....................To be honest with you, I think it was Floyd who suggested to me to come up with a rock tune, well........... I guess this will get you in perfect Christmas mood ? http://app.box.com/s/f7bwc3gqupmpurk9un81http://soundcloud.com/dani-lindroos/drockStyle HROCKLA KA HARD ROCK ALL RTRACKS Recorded thru focusrite 2i2 to Mixcraft 6 Cheers Dani Glitter

Dani, I definetly agree with the ventures comment. Now the ovation can join the ranks of the surf guitars. Good job on exploring outside the box. It really did make me think back to those melodies on the old guitar instrumentals. Thanks for posting. Tom

Dani, my main man!
Did you know that DROCK spelled backwards is KCORD? And you got your blast furnace cookin' plenty of redhot KCORDS on this one!
................................ROCK ON, BABY! (see Dani avatar pic)
Just terrific!
And, along with the Ventures, let's not forget Duane Eddy, with that deeeep git'tar. Remember him?

Dani, I thought that was pretty cool. It has this neat sorta garage band feel going for it... I mean that as a compliment. I enjoyed it. Greg

Hi, Dean, my dearest friend !:))
Thank you for your most kind comment! Who could ever forget Duane ? I have a friend over in Italy who plays a kind of baritone guitar that gives that Eddy sound and maybe even deeeeeeeeeper........!! You´ll find him on the Hank B Marwin Sound and Technical site...

Dani,
That was a wonderful instrumental as if done by a late 1970's punk band. The Shadows meet the Sex Pistols EXCELLENT. Alyn

This has a certain appeal to it.... reminded me of the garage jam bands I played in back in years gone by..... fun times.... no cares except gas money and who had the recreational herbs, just play music and have a good time.
That LA Hard rock style.... I use that in quite a few country songs as well. It does tend to work well across genre lines. When I use it I tend to let it stay "BLUE" the entire song and use markers to create the fills as needed. The green half of the style is kinda strange so I rarely use it in songs.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
