The quiet sections made it interesting, creating a bit of anticipation.

Please, would you let me know which pad-sound you have used? Really a nice piece.

Hiya. I used the Korg Legacy Vsti combo for this piece, the Polysix Pad sound was I think either the influx pad.As it was written in 2009 I think it's hard to remember exactly which one anyhow I'll have a look in my notes and see if I can find out. Yes I'm happy to see this piece being well liked,it is a firm favourite of mine,it was sequenced again using Muzys and was written in about 40 minutes!
A later piece like this was actually recorded by professional players in their private studio which was a big thrill for me,although it had to be quite significantly changed to be played by proper musicians!
Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Very nice! I can see why pros would want to record this!
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Riccled,
a very contemplative tune. The guitar sounds to me like samples. Am I right?

Love the pad and mood of the music.
I think the guitar notes are too loud and upfront. Where the pad takes the melody at 2:20, that's what I wanted, beautiful.
The chord/key change at 5:06, I love that.
A live recorded guitar on nylon strings mixed lower would really work well. As an alternative, using some patch with less attack and less volume.
Digging it, thanks for sharing.

Hi!
This is the first time we've listened to you...we just got here about a week ago. This is a very, very nice piece! This evokes anticipation. What we both thought as we listened was it would be a super piece to play behind the metamorphosis of a creature from one stage to another (as on The Science Channel). Or, the evolution of a space entity such as a star. Loved the lows on the cello!
It was a great listen...thanks! And wishing you great things in 2014.

Hi Guenter No its not a sampled sound I don't think ,its one of the presets on the Korg Legacy Cell vsti,I think its sharp tone contrasts well with the warm sensuous pad!

Please, would you let me know which pad-sound you have used? And I'd really like to know where BIAB is on all this?? Because this is a Showcase for those who use PG Music related software. Not enough dynamics in it for me and I don't think for Professional musicians either to want to copy / record either. Ian

Not unless they are BIAB related please!!! I get the feeling that you are using this Forum for your own purposes and not in the Spirit of the PG Shwocase rules. Ian
