Hi Steve...

This is our first time to listen to you. We didn't hear the original version but this one sure is nice! We loved the natural, relaxed feel you have. It's like we're all sitting around on the porch and singing as the mood strikes us. It's that casual and engaging. We loved this gem! TRhe birds at the end was a real nice touch!

I (Al) have been to England twice...same place on business. I was in Burtonwood, a small village near Warrington. loved my few days there!

Thanks for a calming and soothing listen...

Al & Di

Thanks for your kind words, it means a lot.

I used to live about a mile from Burtonwood in Warrington, so I know it well, I presume you were in the forces. As a curiosity I was in Waverly Tn a couple of years ago when I was on route with the wife from Memphis to Nahville and stopped over.

I am new to this forum, having only got BIAB this Christmas and so far loving it.
Again many thanks Steve

Steve...

Isn't it amazing you've been to the town in which I live and I have been to the town in which you formerly lived...and we're an ocean apart!

Yes, I was in the US Army, stationed in Germany but we had a support warehouse in Burtonwood. I went there to inventory and "hand out" a few new rules.

We've had BIAB for about 2 years. We just upgraded to 2014 this past week. We wish success and musical satisfaction. Best to you, mate!

Al & Di

Steve, a heartfelt "Welcome" to what I think is the most knowledgeable music forum on this planet. We are songwriters and musicians at every level of achievement who are willing to share that knowledge with noobs. Never be embarrassed to ask questions. A sage musician is quoted as saying: "The only stupid question is the one never asked!"

Hi Steve,

Your song is beautiful.

For a work of this nature, my observations are that there is always elegance in simplicity and your song carried that elegance through quality writing, quality performance and skilful production.

I really enjoyed listening to this one. It's wonderful.

Regards,
Noel

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
