Guenter - I may have to print that off and hang it on my wall! Thanks for that... Been a while - about time for a new boehm creation!!!

Bob - got one with a stretch band!

Dean - what a nice thing to say - I like that - may have to add it after Guenter's on my wall!

Greg - thanks for dropping by for a listen and a comment...

Bob - .... um...

Great songwriting and performance.

Man! You sure use BIAB well. I would have never guessed this was done with BIAB.

Floyd, What a sensational production! This material is an absolute credit to you.

Loved the levels and balance. Hard to beat that one.

Congratulations again.

Hi Floyd
I couldn't get it to play on your website (it just kept stopping after a few seconds. Probably something to do with an outdated Quicktime player).

Ended up downloading it because I was desperate to give a listen!

No surprises there. Fantastic as always....

Hi Floyd
sorry for the delay - been coping with some stunning family news. (not BAD news I hasten to add)
Another one for my Sony ipod thingy for the car.
I love the lyrics, as always, and a catchy tune with a decent hook too.
Good job I have 2GB storage on the Pod - at this rate it'll be full this year. Hopefully. lol
Superb as always, FLoyd.
cheers
ian
ps - the last "but" at 3.03 still has the fingerpicking overrun on it. Not that it actually detracts one jot from this great piece of music.

If anyone is still reading this thread at this point...

The re-mixes I did this weekend were "quick fixes" since time was limited (a busy weekend - that honey-do list grows continually...).
I had some time this morning to do some "detail" work - to make those spots be what I thought they should be...

Ian - time to re-download smile

Yes, Sir!! grin

As George Massenburg said: “A mix is never finished, you just have to abandon it!”.
(It gets in your craw sometimes doesnt it. You listen again and think "WHY did I do that" or "Why DIDN'T I do that?". Same with "SS" - I should go back and fix a couple of bloomers but - hey - the next tune looms.)

Floyd,
What a great story. I loved how the last verse answered the bridge. Nice writing.

Floyd, I’m very late coming to the party so everything that I wanted to say has already been said.

This is a keeper.

I do have one question for you. Why aren’t you on the national charts or radio? Your music is a lot better than anything on the major air ways around here!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

"a ballerina climbing junkyard cars"

The FJ cornucopia flows on and on an on. I'll hear a great line like that and then miss the next half dozen while I contemplate it. How's about bundling up your "non-keepers" and offering them to the public -- for a nominal fee of course. I'm in for a gross.

This is a fine production in all aspects and we throughly enjoyed it and adding another one to the FJ play list.

The only thing I'll throw in is how amazed we remain at the consistency of your productions. They all have that big buck highly polished sound that comes out of major operations.

SD - thanks for the listen and comment...

Mario - it's never too late... those are some mighty nice things to say. I do appreciate it. The Showcase has become my airplay choice these days... there's a lot of good stuff on it...

Josie - thanks for that.

Bud - you pulled out my favorite line there... about that offering of non-keepers... You probably need to talk to Bob. No doubt he's been cooking something up (I think someone may have been diggin' through my trash...)

I really like your songs, for this one, which realstyle did you start with? I have some lyrics that would work great with this style. I don't know why but it seems all my songs old and new are converting to country, and I played in rock bands in the early eighties.......what's up with that.........LOL blush
