New Riders is the kind of song my old quartet used to do. We had a guitar, a base guitar, a B3 and drums. That was way back in the mid to late 60’s.

Cr_Beth-Crossover Style was the BiaB style that I used. I kept the drums but deleted everything else. I did do a couple slight modifications to the drum part. I am playing the guitar and the base. The B3 is a mixture of me playing my midi guitar, my keyboard and some writing in the PRV of Sonar.

Let me know what you think.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Man that brought me right back into the 60's. You know that cat named Shaft? He is one bad mammy jammer!

Cool Mario!

Mario, way groovy.
The B3 really nails it. Can visualize a crowd of people all wearing flowers. Nice builds and releases. You captured a great sound there.

Mario...

That was a real nice trip back to a different time. I (Al) started playing in a band in 1963 and you took me right back there. It all sounds good...great work! Thanks for a real sweet listen...

Mario,

Super! Well played. Nice mix. A very enjoyable listen.

That B3 has some real "nice bite" - the way it should!

Thanx all for listening and the ‘far out’ reviews blush

Now if I can just get you to pass it on wink

The B3 sound is from NI’s discontinued B4II. This has the most realistic B3 sounds IMHO.

The guitar is my old $69 Kramer Focus 111S Strat copy strung with Chrome 10 flatwound strings through Amplitude’s Fender Deluxe Reverb preset 65 Mid.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
