In case you were not aware...
... this is what love feels like...

INSIDE OUT

i put my t-shirt on inside out
my boots on the opposite feet
i salted my coffee, i sugared my eggs
now they're scrambled and a little too sweet
i look at you, i can't think straight
that's how i know that it's love
my world never really fell into place
until you shook the whole thing up

(chorus)
inside out and upside down
topsey-turvey and turned around
falling for you has left my head in the clouds
i've got no choice but to let it show
'cause i'm afraid my heart might explode
if i don't let all this love that's inside...out

remember how it felt being six years old
in the back of your dad's oldmobile
that funny tickle you felt deep down
when you hit the crest of a hill
spin yourself around about a hundred times
just as fast as you can
do never-ending summersaults in the yard
you might begin to understand

repeat chorus

... and here are some Realracks that can help illustrate that...

Hi Floyd

A really great country feel, and really great lyrics!

The fiddle and piano fills sit really nice and overall you've captured and presented a top number.

Thanks for sharing

Floyd,

Another very fine song from the FJ library. Love the hook and the vocals & mix are great! I thought the piano solo was cool... We don't seem to use that very often, It worked very well here.

Great Job!

Hi Floyd,

I posted yesterday but forgot to submit.
Another great one.
Although I'm not a country fan I love all your songs
and this one is no exception. It starts with the great
lyrics and ends with the mix.
Not to forget the harmonies.
It's a treat.

Hi Floyd
Another class song for my in-car Player.
Loved the song but can't comment on mix or anything as am away from base and having to endure the worlds worst in ear earphones. Example - Anything below 200hz is inaudible.
Cheers
Ian

Floyd, wowser, gee willikers, ohmygodegedden, holy smoly, well I'll be durned, and danged if you didn't do it again. A fine write over a good hook, great editing, great vocals and just the right combo of instrumentation. Nicely done! Mix is A Ok. I was hoping this song would straighten me out on the world's most complicated subject. After listening closely I find I am still confused. Tom

Hi Floyd.

As usual, excellent throughout.

Maybe you could make a few mistakes next time, so I'd have more to say.

ROG.

Hi Floyd. I especially like the variety of instruments on this one and also the way they work in and out of the mix. Great work Floyd.

Trevor - Thanks for the nice comments. Sometimes those fills fall in place well (sometimes it takes some "work" - which is half the fun...).

Greg (A) - appreciate that. Yea, I think the pianos get overlooked - particularly as an occasional solo... Often, too, when people put a piano in it seems too low in the mix - or buried in amongst other instruments. They can really shine if you let them...

Bob - I'm tryin'... you might want to hold off a while before that release... Dylan just released a box set - Volume 1 - of "the complete albums set" - it contains 47 discs.... given time, we may be able to beat that!!!!

Dani - Thanks - but... didn't you change your "favourite" for about the last 4 or 5? LOL - appreciate it!

Robert - Thanks for that - glad to have you stop by..

Guenter - I do appreciate your support and the kind word you have for my music. Perhaps, over time, we can instill a bit of appreciation for different styles of music in each other (..which, I believe, we already have...)

Ian - Thanks. Glad to know that these are getting played in some car, somewhere... Does that make me an international recording artist? I may have to include that in the liner notes of the next release (Bob - are you paying attention?)

Great song, good mix. Fun Country tune. My only comment is there is a bit too much reverb on your vocals. You might try panning the reverb far right or left so you dont hear it as prevalent but it smooths out. I really like the drum mix.

Tom - have to say... I like all them words! Thanks for the kindness. Sorry that I could not clear up the confusion...

Greg (J) - Thanks for the listen. Sometimes one of the phrase turnabouts just hits you in a way that says "That could make a good song..."

ROG - Thanks for the listen... actually, I thought this one might have a few flaws in it... I had this sitting for a while and re-mixed it right before posting it - and I started experimenting with the vocal track - I'm "looking for something" that I haven't found yet - and this ended up "a bit different"... too much reverb - which Elliott pinged... so I need to look at it some..

Joanne - thanks for the spin...

Josie - I like the "crest of the hill" best, myself... thanks..

Elliot - appreciate you stopping by. Yeah.. the verb is a bit much. I was trying something new and the reverb was printed on the vocal track - so when I processed it further, it accentuated the reverb...

eric - thanks for the listen.
