Reading Soolans thread on Duane Eddy styles made me think.
There are no Styles as such for that 60's Pop phenomenon the Instrumental Group.
I'm thinking Shadows, Ventures, Spotnicks, Fentones ec etc.
Line up was simply Lead guitar, electric or acoustic (usually electric) Rhythm guitar (the best of whom would play the ride of the drummer), electric Bass guitar (eg Fender P Bass etc) and Drummer.
Later on, an "organ" like the Vox Continental got added to some but I guess we can use the B3 or synth tracks for that.
Any chance?

+1 on this as well. Especially some early 60's drumming styles ala Mel Taylor of the Ventures would be great.
