Richard - Glad you enjoyed this... you are another who has done some experimenting lately... BIAB opens up so many possibilities...

I am not surprised, in fact I know that
such brilliant musicians as you and Janice
can do most genrés as easy as that !:))

I hope you will continue on your journey
outside the box and do some more exploring ?:))
I enjoyed this truly much !:))

Dani - thanks for the listen... yeah, if you don't step outside once in a while, you end up with the same, the same, the same... can't have that!!!

I love the ending "Zum Zum..."etc. Sounds like a subway train. Well sung guys. Love the simple arrangement with only 3 tracks and simple backing vocals.

Joanne - Thanks... Zum Zum Zum...

Floyd,

Man, I disappear for a couple of weeks, and you go and change genres on me! This is nice. A real testament to your creative talent, which I have really come to admire.

Glad I didn't miss it!

That is something special. After listening to your

Guenter - if I can get "really different" and "something special" from YOU - I have to feel like I did something right!! Thanks to you and the vocaloids!

Rumor has it, Janice will be debuted on "THE VOICE" next season. Great work, both of you! Take care. Greg

Greg - thanks for all of that - from floyd and lloyd... there is certainly a lot of things we leave unexplored in the box, isn't there?

And I agree - Janice should be on one of those "singin' shows"...

I am not familiar with that - I'll have to go find it..

Hey Floyd,

I'm another once-upon-a-time Jersey boy. This is one of the most jazz influenced things you've done. Very skillful handling of the Real Tracks. You must have found that repeating bass lick and turned it seamlessly into a loop. Also some things are happening with the sax that seem to stretch this RealTrack to the limit - maybe further. Very slick.

Then, add the "Floyd voice" and you puttin' down some stuff!

Hey Floyd,

Adventurous. (okay so I'm trying to think of a word someone hasn't used already and I'm late to the party...)

You two really do compliment each other so well. I always admire how your and Janice's voices mesh whether you're in your country zone or in this case adventuring out of the box.

You two should do a whole duet cd together.

I listened when you first posted this...finally getting back around to it.

It's way cool, totally original and quite musically challenging, which ya'll handled expertly and beautifully, what an accomplished production!!

At one point I thought 'West Side Story', but not quite. Then Janice came in with harmony...I just listened and enjoyed the ride.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
