Don't Cry Autumn Eyes

8 Bar Intro

Sweet summer fun settin like a settin sun glowing in your Autumn Eyes
Sittin in a corner lookin not cookin waitin for a big suprise
The way you look at me will never set me free I can't get much higher cause my hearts on fire

Hot Autumn Eyes lazy summer kisses leading me on by the shore
Autumn colours summer leading into winter cozy by a crackling fire
Warm in the wonder with lovin things to do don't care where we're goin as long as I'm with you

8 Bar instrumental

Long sleepy winter stirring in the spring born again to carry on the dance
Echoes of the past tugging at my sleeve or is it just a fresh romance
Here we are again in soft summer nights dancing with the devil in the mad moonlight

Sweet summer fun settin like a settin sun glowing in your autumn eyes
Sittin in a corner lookin not cookin waitin for a big suprise
The way you look at me will never set me free I can't get much higher cause my hearts on fire
Don't cry autumn eyes

Awesome tune. Sounded a little like Satchmo. Cool lyrics, singing and playing.

Very cool blues. The vocal works perfectly with the laid back arrangement. Then throw in a fine mix with some "keep your attention" lyrics and you end up with this -- a great production to my ears that sounds really good on my KRK's. Bravo!

Richard,

you continue to do some really interesting stuff!!

Good mix on this. And a nice choice of instrumentation. Terrific vocal!

Cool word combinations throughout the lyric. There are a few lines that puzzle me a bit, and they still SOUND cool...

fun stuff...

Thanks to all for the very encouraging comments.
Makes me feel quite enthused.
Have got about 10 more from FAWM to redo.

The words are used more to create feelings or impressions.
For example 'Sittin in a corner lookin not cookin waitin for a big suprise'.
The picture in my mind was a person at a party, sitting back rather out of it anticipating future antics with his sweetie.

Anyhow thanks again. The comments really do give me a buzz! Cheers.

Loved the old-style vibe of the whole thing, from that piano to the Satch-esque vocals (so nicely mixed too). Just brill, from start to finish, bravo!

Thank goodness words aren't knives.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
