[Link no longer valid]

One Friday night my friend JonD and I got together and after a few cocktails and came up with this chord progression. A couple of weeks later we got together and worked on it until it is what it is now. JonD is playing the Fender Rhodes and Vibes via his MIDI keyboard controller and I am playing the bass, lead and rhythm guitars. Band in a Box supplied the drums.

The BiaB style was Smooth Jazz Ballad (65 RS). We deleted every thing but the drums and played our own instruments.

We hope you like it.

I apologize for not being on line and listening to others. My Internet computer with the good speakers is down right now but I hope to be back up and running in a day or two.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Enjoyed the song. It's a good listen for tonight here at home, it's rainy with thunder off in the distance, put's me in a mellow mood and this song fits right in.

I like what you did and more importantly, how you did it.

Some top notch playing by everyone.

I like the "bell-like" tone you got on the guitar and the chords.... nice quick little chord changes/progression going on in there right around :45 and some nice picking right there as well. Kudos!!

Thanks Bro for playing this one. "Few cocktails," I guess what's in them dictates the mood:)

Really like the laid back style, The Fender work is very tasty, as with the Vibes. Overall: Great job
Thanks for sharing

Hi there Mario,
Relaxed and loungy we think.
JonD does a nice job on the Fender Rhodes. We wouldn't mind if he created a nice Fender Rhodes user track smile

Cheers!

I finally got all of our computers changed from XP to Win 7 Pro so I am back up and running.

I want to thank all for listening and the extremely kind comments. We really appreciate them.

FWIW Jon and I are planning on getting together soon and doing more music.

Hi Mario & JonD ...

loved that soft and easy and mellow sound. We do a lot of Lounge Jazz, Adult Contemporary and Sooth Jazz - this one is right up our alley! Loved everything about it! Smooth & mellow ... great music and performance. Kudos to both of you!

And FWIW, we're looking forward to your future collabs! Best to both of you ...
