Hi, folks !

Been away for quite a long time
and it feels almost like starting
over again ! In any case, I did
this little jazzy tune in
between as I somehow got hooked
on that nice progression you
can hear at the end !:))
....and I am sailing away
with my novia to Stockholm next
weekend and the weather is cold.....

Lyrics:

We´ll Find A Way There To Chime (by Dani) © Dani Lindroos 2014

I´m sittin’ here, all alone
in the darkness, all light´s gone
what will become of love this time

I´ve been waitin’, for so long
I´ve been waiting, for you to come along
but I´ve a feeling I´ve done a crime

I just made you blue the other day, babe
I did´nt mean to make you cry
will you pardon me, no maybe
I should have known you were that shy

Let’s get together and sail away
don´t mind the weather, it´s cold anyway
we´ll find a way there to chime

Optional verse:

Doubt that I´m the one you´re dreamin´of, babe
but in my arms you feel secure
I love you my way, no maybe
so I´ll hope we´ll find a cure

Let’s get together and sail away
don´t mind the weather, it´s cold night and day
we´ll find a way there to chime

fade away

Dani! Good to hear from you again!

Wow, this is a GOOD genre for you! I like this as well as or better than anything you've presented here in the past! I'm not sure I can articulate exactly what appeals to me about it, but I'll try

First of all, the product: You really did an outstanding job of using BIAB in all its glory! The chord progression is very pleasing and well laid out. The parts you chose work perfectly with the mood of the songs and the lyrics. The mix is clear to my ears, nothing muddy or incomplete about it.

But the thing that makes it the best I think is your easy-going style of singing. That genre has typically been dominated by singers like Bing Crosby, Dean Martin etc whose claim to fame is their relaxed style. In that regard, it's almost as though you're the latest member of the rat pack!

I'm duly impressed! I hope you enjoy your sailing trip to Stockholm! Make more music for us when you get back!

Hi Dani,

your absence here on the forum means you were busy with other things and I have a clue. Your new song sounds rather positive and happy. Wish you a nice trip and some good song ideas as a result.

Welcome back Dani!

I will also just DITTO what Pat said. I think this is your best to date.

Great work!

Have a safe sailing trip.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Lol ! Yes, we will try and
stay as warm as possible !
We will have subzero temps
I guess, but I have my car
with me so it really does not
make any difference, especially
now when I´ve already changed
to winter tyres !!!!:))
Tommy, ol´friend, thanks for
your nice words and take care !!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
