etc. but I have to confess
that I am more in for Bacharach
type of chording !:))

Dani Well Dani, everything Herb said is true. But the good news for you is he could post the same comments for every song that is on the American radio top 20 country playlist today. The better news is there is plenty of room for your Bacharach type of chording, arrangements and especially your wonderful baritone vocal and real harmonies in country music. There is also some history of it. Note that I'm not implying that Herb said otherwise. I'm just providing different examples. If you decide to take another embryonic jab at country (and I hope you do) check out songs by Jim Reeves, Eddie Arnold or Rex Allen Jr. They all did some fairly sophisticated arranged songs though the chord progression was simple. I noticed you used a Zoom H4N as a mic. That piece of equipment got me back to writing and recording again. I still use it at the piano when I make my first sketch of a song. Really versitile device.
