Nice song! I really enjoyed listening to it. From the first note to the last, the mix was just right. Singing and guitar up to the usual high standard, you make a great trio. Thanks for not throwing it away, we all got lucky. laugh

Apart from that, as usual, another pro mix.
The 2424 piano RT works great (I'll give that a try sometime too).
Another one well sung by Janice.

Rob

Thanks you two! Thanks for mentioning the piano. I had to have some counsel to get it to work in the mix. Great playing but it required a lot of eg tinkering to get "right."

I see (hear) that people are wasting no time to get cracking with the newest Rt's already, eh! cool

This one made me think of Presley's early years, especially the solo part. Not a bad allusion there, I might add.

Janice and Bud (and Tom),

Excellent stuff! I like what Floyd said about people digging through your trash soon! smile Great collab. I can't think of anything I have heard you do that I didn't like!

I'm late to the party and everything has already been said that I wanted to say. All I can add is this is super blues and you three should be extremely proud of this one. Everything is perfect but I have come to expect that from you three! I have said this more than once but here I go again why in hell haven't you been signed yet! Record companies are really missing out!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Gorgeous vocal! Duh.

Excellent arrangement and mix. Love the sound on the slap bass! The piano sounds great.

Tom's guitar is perfect! You could have told me that was a Brent RT and I would have believed it (or George Harrison!)

Cool stuff! All around!

Duh.

Wow! Thanks floyd. Coming from "the man" we're just gonna bask in this for a while smile

What a super blend of styles -a funky, bluesy, country 12 bar with the added attraction of a Janice vocal.

On top of all that there's some superb guitar from Tommy.

Well, what's not to like?

ROG.

We appreciate that and Tom surely nailed the vocal support and retro feel!

How fun was that! And by the end of the song Janice was really cooking with that "bluesabilly". Cool mix of genres and great mix.

What a cool write! Janice nailed the vocals (as usual) - and Tommy tore it up on the guitar.

Thanks for mentioning the Presley early year feel. That's exactly what we were aiming for and also why there were no drums.

Hi Janice and Bud,

Please see my SoundCloud comment. What I wanted to say in addition, is that I came across your web page and that, my friends, is one impressive piece of work. Did one or both of you do the construction? In any case, this is one slick looking pro site.

Thanks Kenny! Back in my upright days I used to really enjoying playing that sound with real gut strings.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
