You're sitting under a tree, sad and playing your pan flute.

Another JonD and MarioD collaboration.

Band in a Box style CoolSmoothJazzQuartEv (70-110) is supplying the drums, all other tracks were deleted. JonD is playing the EP and I am playing a fretless bass and wind controller (pan flute, oboe and bassoon).

Let us know what you think.

Hello Mario

Good work, very relaxing and intimate music.

I like the sound mixing too; the sounds are well distribuited.

Hi Mario,

This is very special music! Could very well be a movie theme.
Reminds us of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Once upon a time in the West". That kind of music!

Nice. Very mellow and relaxing. Makes me imagine I'm on a mountain somewhere sitting back and just chilling out.

Yes, relaxing indeed, it has an European film theme quality to it. Love it!

Very relaxing, This would have been the perfect backdrop to what I did yesterday ..... nothing as I sat under a tree, in my garden, feeling sad.
Definitely chillin' music, man.

nice work

Hi Mario,

very interesting chord pattern and melody.
Others are right: it reminds of a film score.
Very enjoyable listen.
Regards to JonD.

Mario & Jon ...

Such an interesting piece! A good mix - and a good listen.

Mario, the things you do with that wind controller are amazing - beautiful!

Well done.

Hello Mario,

I love the Cool Jazz Ballad styles in Biab. They are usually on the top of the list when I want a song to really shine.

You have a great progression here and the E Piano just glides along perfectly. It's funny how the instrument we play is what we target when listening to a song, lol.

I enjoyed this and you did a great job with the wind controller as well.

Keep em coming friend.

Music ala Mario Leone! Spaghetti music. Awesome, my friend!

I echo what others have said about your progress on the wind controller. You can add flute, sax, and pan flute, et al, to your musical arsenal.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice job, guys!

The EP set the mood and the EWI iced the cake. What are you using as a sound source for your EWI, if you don't mind me asking? I'm not sure if I asked you before or not. If I did, sorry 'bout that. smile

Thanks for the music,
Dan

Mario, Amazing work with the controller. A very unusual chord progression makes this piece unique. Spooky and melancholy at the same time. A complex mix of emotions. An interesting listen that kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Tom

Thanx all for listening and the extremely kind comments. JonD and I greatly appreciate them.

Dan - The EWI USB sound source was Precisionsound's Bolivian Panpipe V2, a third party sound for Kontakt:
Bolivian Panpipe

On a side note we have been asked to go on vacation/holiday with JonD and his girlfriend and after what my wife went through these last few months this will be a great chance to recharge her batteries, so to speak.

So for the next week we will be out of touch with everyone, i.e. no phone and no wifi. But one acoustic guitar and a Patsy Cline style old country singer: JonD's girlfriend and a long time friend of mine Sharon.

I agree with Charlie. The image of the Andes and South America painted itself very clearly in my mind. Another great soundscape!

All the best,

Mario....very meditative, very beautiful, very cool!! This is really interesting and well done. I would have to say you are the forum master at "mood" music. You should be writing film scores. A wonderful job!! Take care. Greg

Hope you are enjoying that holiday!!

This is mesmerizing. For us it evokes
a cascade of nature imagery.

A masterful production featuring
the amazing wind controller and, man,
do I like the tone of that fretless.

Great job guys!
