Hello, Everybody,

I would like to introduce you a song with typical J-pop melody to the Jazz-fusion sound.
I wrote the song a couple years ago for the band recording.
This time I remade it using Band in a Box and added 4 part strings of Baroque feeling.

Title: 愛の着信 (Translation: Incoming call from my love)
Vocal: Natsuki Yoshikawa, a jazz singer from my hometown.
Played with rhythm section, 4 part strings and Alto Sax Solo.
Soloist: Sax,Alt,Sol,SmthJazCoolSw100 (1056)
Style is _SJAZZC4.STY
Style Instruments are :
RealTracks in style: :Bass, Electric, SmoothCool Sw16 100
RealTracks in style: :Piano, Electric, Rhythm SmoothCool Sw16 100
RealTracks in style: :Guitar, Electric, Rhythm SmoothJazzCool Sw16 100
RealDrums in Style: SmoothJazzCoolSw16^1-XStHHt,SnRd

Hello Shigeki,

That's a very nice song and well sung too.
It reminds us, however, very much of a famous Dutch song:

TELKENS WEER

Kind regards,
Rob and Anne-Marie

Hi Shigeki,

another good one out of your magician's box.
Great vocals and such a tasteful arrangement.
I especially like your strings. The whole
composition sounds like based on J.S. Bach.
I enjoyed this very much.

Hello, Robert, Rob and Anne-Marie, Guenter, Alyn and everybody,

Thank you very much for your warm comments.
I was very encouraged by your comments every time.

Rob and Anne-Marie,
Thank you for teaching me the famous Dutch song: TELKENS WEER, which is a very beautiful song.
I have heard the song for the first time, because Dutch songs have never been introduced to Japan.
Though I don’t know why so similar, maybe the one of the reason is that I was greatly influenced by European music (especially French songs) including classical music (especially J. S. Bach) and sometimes similar motifs and 5th cycle chord progressions are found in them.
I will study music more and more from now on.

I would like to post my music again.
Thank you

Shigeki Adachi

Shigeki Adachi,
Very nice production. Your mixes and arrangements always seem very well balanced to me. And you're lucky to have such a smooth vocalist at your disposal.
Quite enjoyable.

Nice arrangement and a very effective mix
supporting the melody, the lyric and the
fine vocal.

We enjoyed listening!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
