Hello everybody,
In the middle of this piece, the chord progression doesn't change but the tempo is twice faster.

Chris this is really really good! It has that "Quintette du Hot Club de France" feel to it! If there was an acoustic guitar lead one might have thought it was Django!

Two thumbs up!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Mario, thanks for your comments.
Your comparison with the Quintette du Hot Club de France is quite right. During the second world war, Stéphane Grappelli's violin has been replaced by Hubert Rostaing's clarinet ! And Django's guitar was always so inspired.

Hi Christian,

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. Swing jazz and Gypsy jazz are favourites of mine and I like the way you presented both. The tempo changes were great and really kept me on my guard! That's a terrific clarinet sound. Really well arranged and mixed.

Very entertaining!

Regards,
Noel

Well, as I listened, and before I read Mario's comment and your answer, I thought, 'European sidewalk cafe.'

Then I started imagining a day in the life of the people working there. The tempo change hit me as being a kind of rush hour. A video of this is playing in my mind I guess.

Excellent production!

Sounds like a movie studio soundtrack. Very nice and the double tempo is a nice touch.

Interesting stuff!! Transition is cool-I could see this as score music where there is a change in the mood in the film. Cool music! Take care. Greg

Noel said it all and said it well.
We are both fans of what came
out of the Hot Club. Had a friend
who played great gypsy jazz fiddle.
Very cool!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
