Damn, that sure is HOT!!! I fell in love from the first guitar groove in the intro, and fell deeper with each note/word. Some songs (not many) sound like hits, some are just great songs, and very, very few are both, but THIS IS!! Wonderfully natural, expressive vocal and a really profound, unpretentious lyric that has heart and bite. Absolutely love the second set of verses. You have really found your voice. Amazing work!! I'm in awe! Take care. Greg

As everyone (without exception) before me has said, this is fantastic. Songwriting and song-presentation doesn't get any better than this anywhere.

Such talent is obviously not a surname thing. How I wish it were smile

Hey Brother Adams, I always look forward to your comments on the writing. Thanks for these. It means more to me than I can say. Tom

Greg, I want to thank you for giving me such great reviews and for your continued encouragement. I may have mentioned this before but you were my inspiration to concentrate on greater clarity in the vocals. I surely can't sing like you but I can try and steal some of your processing tricks. Thanks, Tom

Tom,

Damn that sure was a hot song, everything about that was ecellent.

I listened to it as I saw the Blood red moon so it was a PERFECT backdrop to that sight
. Altho it was more orange so maybe the world isn't gonna implode and end.....maybe grin

great song

Tom,

All the superlatives have been grabbed. You are too modest
regarding the melding of your playing, the RT, your vocal
and the loops. It takes a visionary approach to do this and
that trumps whatever difficulty there may or may not be
in pulling it off. The end result shines and sings!

As with all your songs you have a way of writing themes
that are profound yet at the same time are subtle and work
on as Lawrence said "more than one level."

And this song is one of your best expressions of that talent.

Well done!!

Very creative use of the artificial to make this whole piece sound organic. And just to bead that long-dead horse: It's hot! wink

p.s. Is there a way to adjust the volume of your songs on your main page?

Thank goodness words aren't knives.

I still can't look at you and NOT see T Bone Wolk (RIP). I have a DVD of the tribute Daryl Hall paid to his dear friend T-Bone after he passed. "The Guy With The Hat" as they called him. You are the spittin' image!

I smashed the hell out of my car today. When the cops came I told him "Officer, that guy was BOTH texting and drinking a beer." The cop said "Sir, he has every right to do that. I mean, it's HIS living room..."

Hi Tommy,

For some reason the intro and verse of the song reminds us of 'the only living boy in New York' of Paul Simon. And then of course there is the John Hiatt sound ;-)
Cool guitar playing! and we definitely love the Brent Dreamy RT!

Another winner.

Tommy,
I wasn't expecting a song about climate change but you sure nailed it. Very good song and performance.
One comment about the lyric.
"Mother Nature’s warning us I think she’s scared to death"
In my business, I think about weather, climate, and the Earth everyday. I often wonder if "Mother Nature" is benevolent or vindictive. I wonder whether she would be "scared to death" for us. However, we should be scared for us.
In any case, it's definitely "not nice to fool with Mother Nature"

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
