the opening carol was recorded with BIAB and RB... but I wasn't striving for polish, I wanted something that would work in a cartoon environment, and fill a specific number of seconds until the dialog kicked in.

On a more serious note, I want to thank...

1) all of the forum members for another year of sharing your friendship, wisdom, wit and music with me! Y'all are the best all-around assembly of people on the whole internet!

2) all of the people who work at PGMusic, for of all your diligence in bringing this amazing product to our homes! I appreciate every one of you, and I'm sure everyone else here does too!

3) Last but certainly not least, I want to thank Dr. Peter Gannon for being the visionary who imagined that such a product could exist, then went to work in order to make sure that it DOES exist! The world needs more people like you!

I wish all of you the best holiday season ever!

I've always suspected Pat of secretly being an elf. That would explain his mysterious absences right before Christmas. grin

That was a great bit from one of the truly good people here. Best to you Pat.

I smashed the hell out of my car today. When the cops came I told him "Officer, that guy was BOTH texting and drinking a beer." The cop said "Sir, he has every right to do that. I mean, it's HIS living room..."

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
