I decided to just use the BIAB tracks and not add any additional guitar or keys and see how it stands up on its own. I recently found a note book full of songs I wrote over 30 years ago so now BIAB is a quick way to preserver these before I completely forget them.
This is one of the first songs I ever wrote back in 1981. I had never recorded it before so I'm glad I found the lyrics. BIAB did justice to it.

And When That Day Comes.

Ah to be 18 years old again and not jaded at all with the world. smile

HI Again, Jeff ...

Nice song ... very reminiscent of the eras. Thought I (Alan) was back in Germany for a few minutes (lived there much of the 70's and 80's). Soft Pop-Rock was really popular then ... and we still like it. Your GF did a nice job with the lyric and you performed it nicely. Best to you ...

Hi Jeff,
Good choice of instruments and mix. It would be good to list them and the lyrics as well. You have a nice smooth voice and I enjoyed the listen.

Another nice one, Jeff.

Reminded me of Jesse Colin Young (haven't thought of that name in a long time)....

You'll get more listens and comments if you only
post one song at a time.

Nice retro feel (that was my era)!! Like Floyd said, JC Young comes to mind. Also America, Bread, etc. Very nice music, rich with emotion and texture. Enjoyed!! Take care. Greg

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
