My song is loaded and plays just fine but the only instrument for which notes are displayed in the notation window is piano. Why?

Can you show us a picture of your screen? I think someone will immediately recognize what the issue may be. Otherwise, could be 2 or 3 things.

Yes, welcome.
You have to generate/play a song to generate parts. Even giving it 10 seconds should be enough. If you just load a song and then check for notation and it isn't there, that could be the reason.

First of all, make sure you hit play at least once to generate all the tracks.
That being said, we need to know which style you selected. If it is a MIDI-based style, then you should see notes on all tracks. If it is a RealTracks-only style, then not all RealTracks have what is known as "RealCharts", which are a notation transcription of the audio you hear. You will know that the track has a "RealChart" if there is a green underline under the instrument name where all the track radio buttons are located (at the top of the screen).
If the green line is not there, you will not see any notation for those tracks.
If the style is a hybrid style (some RealTracks/some MIDI), then the MIDI tracks should have notation, and the RealTracks per what I just explained above.
If none of these are the case, then yes, a screen shot would help troubleshoot your problem.

Dave, if it helps, there is a column in the RealTracks selection window that shows if the Real Track has notation or not. If I recall correctly, all the piano tracks now do, but the other instruments vary.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
