Ibiza

Lyrics
On the beach I saw you
With your golden hair
Your face so tanned and beautiful
You seemed to walk on air

The minute I saw you I knew you were the one
I felt my heart go in spasms in the sun
I fell in love that day as the waves did roar
I saw your face and wanted more

In the evening I walked on over to you
You looked at me but I felt so unsure
I finally asked you to come and dance with me
We danced all night by the sea

On the beach oh Ibiza
I fell in love nothing neater
As we danced the night away
I could hear the music say
Ibiza with eyes of blue
Ibiza your smile shone through
Ibiza I am so in love with you
Ibiza, Ibiza I love you

Instrumental

As the sun began it's dance of light
It had signalled the end of the night
As the band stopped playing "I don't see why"
We had to part and say goodbye

On the beach oh Ibiza
I fell in love nothing neater
As we danced the night away
I could hear the music say
Ibiza with eyes of blue
Ibiza your smile shone through
Ibiza I am so in love with you
Ibiza, Ibiza I love you

Any comments welcome

Regards
Michee

It worked this time. Started with a sort of Roy Orbison vibe. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing!

Hey George,

This is excellent! Agree with Robert on the Orbison vibe, which really makes the song. Love everything about it - great melody and vocal...
