Haven't been here for awhile - health issues, including some hearing problems. Hope everyone is doing well. Used the new Zane rhythm guitar
2537 on this.

Body And Soul
© 2015 Kenny Leverett

If I was a rich man with silver and gold
There still would be emptiness without someone to hold
If you were a princess up there on a throne
Your life would hollow if you were alone
I don’t wanna be King of the World I don’t need to control
I just want the kind of love that makes you feel whole

Girl you touched my heart now tell me it’s so

That you could love me the way I love you now body and soul
Body and soul
That you could need me the way I need you girl body and soul
Body and soul

Now you take a poor man whose tattered and torn
Never had much money since the day he was born
But he’s got a woman who loves him so true
Takes good care of him, nothing she wouldn’t do
He don’t need to be King of the World, don’t wanna control
Cause he’s got the kind of love that makes him feel whole

Darlin’ you touched my heart, now tell me it’s so, tell me it’s so

That you could love me the way I love you now body and soul
Body and soul
That you could need me the way I need you girl body and soul
Body and soul

Let your love wash over me
Cause you give me all I need
So let your love wash over me
We’re better together and always will be

That you could love me the way I love you girl body and soul
Body and soul
That you could need me the way I need you now body and soul
Body and soul

Loved it, Kenny.

I really like your writing. It flows. It has a "natural" feel to it. The way Van Morrison's writing did. With a touch of Buffalo Springfield. An all-round "classic rock" feel...

Awesome band!

A great listen.

Music as it should be.

Kenny
Really great vocal
I absolutely liked the style that was selected and the vocal harmonies are nicely presented.

Thanks Floyd,
nail on the head, the music made me think of Van Morrison, it was all I could do not to imitate his singing style (though I wouldn't do it justice anyway) in my head I was writing an old Van Morrison Gospel type feel good love song.

Floyd's mention of both Van Morrison and Buffalo Springfield
was interesting...and we can, indeed, hear it. Being huge
Van Morrison fans that makes this even more cool.

A fine write, vocal, arrangement and production.

Really enjoyable!

J&B

Best to you during the coming year!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
