Often when I edit peaks manuel, which I prefer over automatic limiter/compress, its too cumbersome to get to the gain change menu. I wish there was a short cut to especially that menu. That could save a lot of time when mixing.
Of all the "destructive" audio effects I use, this is the one I use most often. As it is now, you have to right click, select Audio Effects, then select Gain Change. It would be nice to be able to just right click and select Gain Change from the popup menu.

Thanks for the answers. I have way to go in understanding the 2 extern programs, so until PG eventually should change it , I´ll go with: highlighting a portion -then Alt E, S,GGG, enter.
"Any experience of the same problem? " I just downloaded RB-Gain-HotKey.zip to my desktop - ran it - hit ctrl g - it brought up the gain window of real band in win 10.
this is what it is doing it was running in the system tray as "H" if you right click it in the system tray then select Edit script:
;Gain Change ~Ctrl & G:: Macro9: WinActivate, ahk_class RealBand ; Selects real band Sleep, 500 Send, {F10 1} ; Brings the menu up Sleep, 100 Send, {Right 1} ; Moves over to Edit menu Sleep, 100 Send, {Down 1} ; Down to Edit menu items Sleep, 100 Send, {S 1} ; Down to Effects Sleep, 100 Send, {G 1} ; Down to Gate Sleep, 100 Send, {G 1} ; Down to Graphic EQ Sleep, 100 Send, {G 1} ; Down to Gain Sleep, 100 Send, {Enter 1} ; Hits enter key once Return
you can right click on the "H" in the system tray 'Reload Script' to make sure it's running - you can right click edit script and change the function key "~Ctrl & G::" then save then reload - try disable anti virus it may be stopping the script - it works here on win 10 I can use it for other functions also it is very useful.
Hi Video Track Does that mean you have the same problem ?
Not quite. SolidRock was a power of knowledge on these forums. He had promoted the products through other websites and much more. He had some great ideas, and had provided significant valuable feedback to PGM.
He worked out patches to fix existing problems, and was always improving something.
He had gone to great lengths to identify issues and report them, and it was acknowledged by PGM that they would be fixed. In the next release, nearly nothing from the list had been resolved. He was disillusioned (I don't blame him) and just called it quits.
