Hallo,
wenn man jetzt eine "alte" BiaB-Software hat und man möchte nun das Neueste haben gibt es dann zur vorhandenen Version entsprechende Updates, oder muss ich mir jedesmal die neueste Version kaufen? Könnte ich mir z. B. Realband als Update zur vorhandenen Version downloaden und dieses Update wäre dann nicht ganz so teuer?? Wie sieht das bei BiaB aus?

Auf den deutschsprachigen PG Music Seiten sind die Upgrade Pfade auf BiaB 2009 -> hier gelistet. Upgrade Pfade auf 2009.5 finden sich zurzeit lediglich auf den englischsprachigen Seiten -> hier.

vielen Dank für die rasche Info. Dann wäre also das allerneueste Deutsche Programm die Version Band in a Box 2009 Pro?

Ich empfehle in jedem Falle auf die neueste amerikanische (kanadische ...) Version zu aktualisieren. Eine lokalisierte Version enthält lediglich entsprechende Sprachdateien. Es ist völlig problemlos möglich, eine aktuelle amerikanische BiaB 2009.5 Version mit einer deutschen BiaB 2009 Sprachdatei zu versehen. Das Programm funktioniert perfekt; lediglich bei neuen Features, die in der Version 2009 noch nicht vorhanden waren, kann es sein, dass eben englischer Text auftaucht -> die Funktion als solche ist nicht beeinträchtigt.
Eine Lokalisierung erfolgt naturgemäß mit einer gewissen zeitlichen Verzögerung. Wenn dann die deutschen Sprachdateien (für die Programm-Oberfläche, Hilfe und Handbuch) für die Version 2009.5 vorliegen, können diese problemlos über den Support kostenfrei bezogen werden.
Die USB HD Versionen sind cool -> eine Band in einer richtigen kleinen und handlichen Box, alles bereits vorinstalliert.

Hallo Martin,
vielen Dank für den sicherlich gut gemeinten Rat, aber da ich sowieso immer noch Probleme mit dem Umgang mit BiaB (alte Version) habe denke ich, dass es vielleicht für mich doch besser ist erst einmal auf BiaB 2009 Pro umzusteigen und mich langsam vorzutasten. Ein für mich dann späteres Update auf 2009.5 wird doch sicherlich nicht soooo teuer sein ?? Diese "Realband" ist doch in dieser Version vorhanden, oder? Jedenfalls hatte ich das so verstanden.
Ich wäre für eine Info hierauf noch dankbar.

Hallo Music-Girl, RealBand wird offenbar nunmehr grundsätzlich zusammen mit BB 2009 'gebundelt' geliefert - die beiden Programme ergänzen sich sehr gut. BB 2009 Pro ist die Basis Version der Suite. Das Programm selbst ist in den unterschiedlichen Versionen jeweils identisch. Die Versionen Pro, MeagPAK, UltraPAK und UltraPlusPAK unterscheiden sich lediglich in der Anzahl der mitgelieferten Style Sets, RealTrack und RealDum Sets sowie Song&Lesson PAKs. Für knappe Budgets reicht eine Pro Version erst einmal aus - man kann damit schon etwas machen. Allerdings fehlen doch sehr viele 'Styles', die eben in der MegaPAK Version enthalten sind. Die UltraPAK Versionen enthalten neben den vollständigen Midi Styles mehr Sets an RealTracks und -Drums. Für eine Basis 'Pro'-Version unterscheiden sich die Releases 2009 und 2009.5 kaum -> die mitgelieferten Styles sind äquivalent. 2009.5 enthält im Vergleich eher Bugfixes und das eine oder andere neue 'Feature'. Ein möglicher Weg wäre - Kauf der deutschen Version BB 2009 Pro (hoffentlich ist da auch ein gedrucktes deutsches Handbuch dabei).
- Erst einmal mit der Version 2009 herumspielen.
- Ein Update auf die Version 2009.5 ist via Download von den -> Support Seiten kostenlos möglich.
Das Programm bleibt nach dem Update in Deutsch; lediglich einige neue Features würden auf Englisch erscheinen bis zu einem Update der deutschen Sprachdateien.

Hallo Martin,
vielen Dank für die ausfühlichen Infos. Na, wenn ich dieses Update der Version 2009.5 dann auch noch kostenlos douwloaden kann, habe ich doch echt überhaupt keine Probleme mehr. Dann lege ich doch erst einmal mit der Version 2009 los und forste mich mal durch. BiaB ist schon ein tolles Programm, aber natürlich auch sehr umfangreich und da muss ICH echt Stück für Stück durch. Hoffentlich ist allerdings ein deutsches Handbuch dabei. Danke nochmal.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
