This is the song I wrote to explain the name "Even If . . ." and will be the title track of album #1.
Until Biab, this song had been difficult for me to convey to live musicians . . . even with chord chart . . .
It had been written for awhile but I was not talented enough to play all of the parts so it sat for a long time . . .
I used _HROCKLA.STY LA Hard Rock, All RTrks
I switched out 996 with 1270 pop lift sync muted guitar and added 1000 Guitar fuzzy held
A lead in this style at 140bpm wasn't really there in Biab, so I used 705 Flute Soloist Bossa (Bluesy) and then ran it through Amplitube 3 lead Marshal emulation with aphex aurel exciter and Reel ADT
Link to song: [Link no longer valid]

You have a lot of cool stuff going on in this song:
1) I really like your voice... it has the perfect mix of tonality, pitch and raspiness to make your vocals sound interesting and even exciting!
2) the dialog between the king and his minions regarding Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego's unwillingness to bow down to the idol adds a theatrical moment to the composition that I found to be really interesting and attention-getting
3) In fact, I find that your songs in general are full of interesting little ditties that ramp up the interest level repeatedly in different directions, and in so doing they keep your songs moving from one audio texture to another... little tricks like changing the EQ for one phrase only, to emphasize the message contained in that phrase, or adding harmonies at key points to beef up the impact. Lots of songs use harmony, but you use it as a form of dynamics, and I find that interesting
4) I absolutely LOVED your use of the flute run through an overdriven marshall... it was reminiscent of Jethro Tull and maybe a metal solo with only the high harmonics stripped out and used alone. VERY Interesting sound! It would be interesting to take a metal solo guitar real track that has an accompanying MIDI track and superimpose a flute on the MIDI to create harmonics that can be controlled separately
5) considering the fact that you appear to be using your music as a ministry, I think you are missing an opportunity by failing to post your lyrics
In conclusion, I have really enjoyed everything you've posted so far.. I think you have a lot of talent and some interesting approaches to solving the standard musical problems.

This is one of the best complex productions I've ever heard on here. You have a LOT going on in this rock song and it's obvious the attention to detail that went into it. I think you're target audience is going to love your new album. In a word "wow"!

Thanks Rob! It has been a struggle for sure. The best thing about Band in a Box is that the musicians listen very attentively and do what they are asked to do Seriously though, Biab helps me get a lot of things out that have been difficult in the past with live musicians . . . Without Biab, this song would prolly still be on the shelf . . . . I just wish it had more pentatonic electric guitar leads in the 120-150 range . . . If it did, I would be in production right now on the albums. Blessings to you!

Great stuff!! Energy, vocals, arrangement, and mix are all excellent. As Pat mentioned, that flute idea was brilliant-worked perfectly! Enjoyed this a lot! Take care. Greg
