Excerpt from the Memo: A straight forward, even Tango pattern, with lots of staccato and accent is on the first beat. Played on a "chromatic bandoneon" accordion. Designated a and b substyles included, as well as endings for each, in various keys. Tempo range ca. 100-140, and quite possibly faster.
Utilises a huge database of chords, from ALL the templates provided by PG Music. Features over 800Mb, the complete set (uncompressed WAV), with nearly 80 minutes of play!
Have a listen to a demo here.

I had rather given up on making these due to all the glitches and limitations that have made it harder than it should be to make decent tracks that are actually usable (and nobody was showing any real interest.
But when the recent batch of Realtracks finally hit my platform, I couldn't help feel there was an instrument missing in the new Tango set, the all-important accordion, so I decided to give it a go.

If anyone is interested, the set can be obtained for one buck, PM me for details.

Thank you, though I have to admit that compared to the proper Argentinian thing, this is quite the clunky 'Tango of the North', heh grin

Thank you all for the support, it's very encouraging.

If only they'd clear up the more severe bugs & limitations...

And now this UT has been updated, with more rules applied, cleaner recording and an overhaul improved timing, in accordance with the recent Piano update of the same set! This completes the updates for all UT's in my Tango Trio set.
This update has resulted in a slight change in the overall sound character of the accordion, which is now a bit 'brighter' and thus in less need of that timbre tweak in the mixer like I applied to the original demos.
And speaking of demos, a short new solo demo is found HERE!, with a full 'Tango trio' set demo found HERE!. Other previous demos have likewise been swapped out with the new sounds cool

And, as always, those of you who already had the original will be getting this update absolutely free.
As for others interested in obtaining this or any of my other UT sets, it's only a $1 and it's yours - that's a single buck, folks! smile

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
