Translation of lyrics: (Please forgive my poor English.)

“More Than Friends, Less Than Lovers”

I can’t go back ever again, can’t return to the previous condition.
We were only friends a little while ago

Drawing you close to me, but you don’t escape from my arms
I’m so happy to kiss you over and over again,

You don’t remove my palm placed on your knee
You are leaning your soft body on me deliberately

Blaming the cocktails, you are picking a quarrel with me and behaving like a baby
Clearly your behavior is different from as usual

My heart is flared up by your behavior
To tell the truth, I have loved you from a long time ago

Soaring with joy because you are intimately in my arms now
And you are obedient unusually

I never could have imagined such a day would come
I will hold you tight and never let you go

Hiding my heart sometimes quietly and sometimes struggling
But maybe you have been aware of my feeling for you

Pretending not to be aware of such feeling
Remaining friends is sometimes wisdom as adult

But this must be a greatest happiness
I should grasp the good luck in front me without hesitation

You are so precious to me as you are breathing a little hard all this while
Entangling our lips and I squeeze you again

Please stay and we should not miss the chance because you already came up to my room
We are going to be lovers surely tonight

Wow, that was a surprise Shigeki!! On first listen, the first part of the music seemed "too classical" for the style, but it grew on me. The other part worked very well. The music from the students worked great! Good mix and production. Nice job all the way around!! Take care. Greg

Hi Shigeki,

Hard Rock with 3/4 signature, J.S. Bach like chord progression and your vocal style make this song very special in a positive way.
The lead guitars are great.
I enjoyed my listen.

Shigeki,

A cool listen.

I thought it had a somewhat Spanish flair to it. Throw in some Texas and some Japan - and you have a multicultural hit!

Nice. Enjoyed. Well sung.

I enjoyed this quite a bit! My daughter was adopted from Asia, and now that she is older she celebrates her roots by exploring the cultures and music of the region.

Upshot for me is that, any time she's home the house is filled with K-pop, J-pop, Theme songs from popular Anime series, OST from Korean dramas, etc... so this song fits right into my normal listening environment!

You are a very talented musician, Shigeki Adachi! Thanks for sharing your work with us!

Hello, Pat

Many thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.
And kind words every time.
I sympathize a little bit with the house is filled with K-pop, J-pop, Theme songs from popular Anime series.
Because they are fairly noisy if not accustomed to hear.
Though I much prefer American and European Pops, ironically, you feel something like the flavor of J-Pop in my music, don’t you?
But I am glad to hear your comments very much.

Best Regards.
