Hi Bob,
I like the rhyme between "without a care" and "La ville lumiere"
You didn't list RT etc, but I'm thinking a lot of this was masterfully crafted in MIDI, based on how perfectly the parts work together. It all seems too "right" to be randomly generated.
However you did it, it's awesome!

Pat,
Thanks for the listen and kind comments. I edited and added the memo. The accordion and glockenspiel were from Dim Pro. The strings were Miroslav.
Regards,
Bob

Really nice Bob!! This has a wonderful, whimsical, romantic quality in both the music and lyrics. You delivered the vocal perfectly and mix and arrangement are excellent!! Take care. Greg

Hi Rob,
Simply romantic, you captured that whole French essence with that delicate touch of the accordion, so essential. It just took one right there. A lovely soft whimsical vocal rounded it of beautifully.

That was so good in so many ways.
Lovely production with the GLock, Accordion, and Orchestral strings. Those instrument sounds take the listener right to some back alley Parisian cafe with candles on the tables that are stuck in old wine bottles with the wicker baskets on them. The overall word that comes to mind is "delicate"....
The melody and chords reminded me in a very fleeting way of Willy and Merle's "Seashores of Old Mexico"....
Another great song.

Bob,
This is absolutely beautiful... a stunning listen.
I loved the concept of love's being captured in the eternity of one moment of time. Framed by such a sensitive and creative backing, the poignancy of verse 2 really hit home. I would love to have heard the second verse repeated in full after the instrumental section.
Everything about this... writing, arranging, performing, mixing... is top shelf!
Regards, Noel

"Frozen in flash-back" Very nice!
Dittos re Noel's comment "Everything about this... writing, arranging, performing, mixing... is top shelf!"
It's a beautiful write with superb imagery. So much there with so relatively few words. Nothing left to add and nothing left to take away.
We enjoyed the listens...

Another great song. Herb, Thanks for the listen. This song came from the Paris flashback scene in Casablanca, one of my favorite films. French is where I was aiming for. Regards, Bob

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Excellent on every level. The write, mix, performance and production are spot on as has been previously noted.
Mario stated it well --- this is a keeper. A great song to follow "While the music played"
Enjoyed this from start to finish.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
