Agree!! I also checked out "blubber". It's funny..I recently linked Floyd to this one, saying that it was one of my favorite guitar solos. He said, it had always been one of his. You did a great job on that!! Take care. Greg

Tommy! You and I must be about the same age, your work shows the same styles and artists as mine!

I came up playing blues and pop in various bands during the 60s and 70s, but eventually got tired of the repetitive nature of most 3 chord blues songs. But I've been away from the past for so long now that the blues sound like wild irresponsible youth to me, and I like that! So what you're doing here is bringing back a lot of good memories...

You must have misspent a substantial portion of your own youth playing blues, because you really have it down to the core guts that makes it all so interesting!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I'd love to hear one of your serious blues numbers with serious vocals. A guy who comes from the republic of Texas Blues, home of ZZ, SRV, Eric Johnson and many more guitar greats should be the right guy for the task....

I've been away from the forum for a couple of weeks trying to finish my most recent project, so I haven't whittled my way through the pile to get to that one yet. I thought THIS one was a very nice serious work... the point I was trying to make is that you haven't added vocals to any of your songs except the humorous ones. You are a very talented musician and you seem to put a lot of thought into your songs, so it would be interesting to hear your lyrical take on a ballad.

Or not. Totally your call and wishful thinking on my part. Everything you do is good with or without vocals.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
