This one was inspired by the British crime drama TV series: The Fall. Be aware, this is not your usual RnAM song. Nor is the video, which took us weeks to create (and may be slightly brutal to some). You know that we like to experiment with different styles. This one doesn't sound like BIAB at all but really, it is ;-) A very special thanks to Brent for his killer solo at the end.

Lyrics:
Yes it's me again I'm just standing here, watching you, staying close I could even find you with my eyes closed that and more, whenever I wanted to
Now you're in the store I'm just watching you flirt to the guy behind the register You're buying lipstick, mascara, eyeliner You want to pay, oh sure you're gonna pay
Okay, you're out of there Now from the looks of it you didn't really want him, did you? Yeah, hell I know what you want, I was in your house Just climbing a couple of stairs
I was passing some pretty pictures there in the hallway A good-looking guy, a little child, uh.. two little children Forget about them, there's only me!
It's time for you to leave that old life behind, as they say Well, think of it more as leaving this world behind, ha ha ha
The voice like an angel But what did you mean by 'not wanting me?' Is there any such thing? ooh...
Your lights gone out.....

Any time I see your names attached to a project, my expectations skyrocket... but even from such a lofty starting point I was surprised in a good way by this! You have always been at the forefront of this forum when it comes to video productions, but MAN! This is some cool stuff!
(Translation: I don't know how to do any of it, and I'm jealous but impressed)
The song itself is way edgy compared to your usual relationship songs. But in a way, it's a relationship song too. I can see this being used in an indie film.
I loved the way you made the statue sing. Once I figure out how you did it, I'll be stealing that idea. ;-)
The guy in front of the train with all the facial expressions.. was that a 2d photo that you tweaked to create the movement? If so, I'm very impressed! Very natural looking movement
The 3d faces made of light are also very interesting .. and especially in this song it works as powerful imagery.
Some of the stock pictures and video you used seem too good for anybody to make them available for free! Good job finding this stuff! I know how long it takes to scour the web for usable assets that you can use in videos.
Anyway... great job all around.. I am very impressed by the whole package. If I weren't almost speechless, this would be a lot longer....
This was way too as you say "brutal" for me since it was written from the point of view of a criminal about to kill someone. So thank you for the warning up front.
My personal taste aside, I thought the song and the video were both very well done. The video was edgy without crossing the gore line with cool effects. The arrangement and production of the song fit the theme well and Rob's vocal was convincing.

Rob and Anne-Marie,
WOW. you two are so prolific and with a consistently high standard!!!
Great use of loops! Was the synth a loop? The vocals are perfect for this. The production and mix are excellent.
The video is one of your best ever. All those things that Pat mentioned... outstanding...
(Brent's solo at times seemed stretched a bit far - phase-y ... but I think that is only because we are all familiar with BIAB and what happens to them when stretched... "outside" listeners would likely not think that...)
RnAM, The music sounds fantastic. Great vocal delivery! The video is astounding. This is among your very best work. Stellar mix as usual. A wonderful multimedia experience. Tom
Pat said it: Great job all around.. I am very impressed by the whole package. If I weren't almost speechless, this would be a lot longer... I enjoyed watching and listening several times.
