Tele Blues

This is just a "I gotta let off some steam" blues jam!

After a month of on the go I just had to sit down, return to my roots and jam.

BiaB style = Rock Blues - Gritty Medium-Slow

The drums are verbatim. The pads were only used in spots and the organ track was heavily modified to better fit the song. All other tracks were deleted.

I am playing the bass and guitar parts with both tracks the first takes.

I hope you like it for what it is - MarioD

Any comments, good, or bad are appreciated.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Nice, Mario.

Nice pickin'. Especially liked the part around 2:45... The organ was super, too... Really gave this another dimension.

Nice...the vibe is really different for a blues. We are blues fans big time and much enjoyed this. And it wouldn't bother us in the least if the guitar was up a little. To quote another forum member -- it needs to make your years bleed!

Fine playing!!

Ok, I clearly see what's going on Mario.

I went all Yes on you, and then you said, ok, you think you know what freaky is, you don't know freaky, then you decided to go all Zappa on me, but then said wait!!...I am going to add in some Grateful Dead, too....but wait! That's not all! I'm going kick in some Duane Allman too.

I see how you're playing it, Mario. I see what you're doing. This means war!!

Next up:

King Crimson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario, Most of time first takes are the best. I always make the mistake of not recording first takes and then struggle to come close to what I did. An enjoyable listen with some nice playing. Tom

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
