Hi
I am a newbie at this and don't know what I am doing.
I have a question. How many songs can I submit?

I am in the flood zone in the Baton Rouge, La. area. As I drove down street after street and saw how home after home had been destroyed I remembered a song I had written and all these homes were the pride and joy of families. Now all of the hand picked items that made this the perfect home sat on side of the road as trash.

I guest when I realized this it really touched my heart.
I went home reworked my song, added the xtra track and submitted it. I hope it will help us appreciate how nice it is to have a home to share with family and friends.

You've mentioned having the EverythingPAK and the 49-PAK purchased earlier this year, but did you also purchase the just-released Xtra Styles? The confusion could be that we are stating they use the RealTracks in the 2016 UltraPlusPAK, EverythingPAK, or Audiophile Edition, and 49-PAK - but the Xtra Styles are still an additional purchase: http://www.pgmusic.com/xtrastyles.php
(on sale until September 30th)

Hi William,

The rules for this contest do not state that there is only 1 submission per person, so feel free to submit songs for each genre/category if you'd like!

Callie: Thanks for setting the record straight. It seems that I shot off on a tangent. I interpreted VB's posts as saying that he had the XtraPAK.

VB: Apologies for leading your astray. The XtraPAK was only released a month or so ago and is not part of your Christmas purchase.

Regards,
Noel

Hi Callie:)

Yes the wording is confusing! That's what I started to suspect but was not sure. I will purchase the Xtra styles. I thought I was losing my mind:) LOL

Dang I missed out on the Xtra Stlyes contest. I was also hoping a could get an uncompressed version of the Xtra Styles.

Islansoul - Since the Xtra Styles will trigger the RealTracks & RealDrums that you already have installed, there's no need to offer a special uncompressed version. If you have the Audiophile, it will trigger the uncompressed files for you.

Thanks,
Callie

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
