Hello Callie,
I'd really like to see a video that explains the UserTracks Development Screen and what each option on the screen does.
Page 202 of the 2016 BiaB User manual shows the button to call up the screen but has no information about the screen itself. The 2016 BiaB CHM (help) file has a picture of the screen and a very short description of each option but usage details is sketchy at best.

Jim's message about providing a video to supplement the manual's discussion of a particular point prompts a broader suggestion -- integration/cross-reference of all the various support/knowledge resources -- manual, help files, videos, other PG support communications, etc. -- into a one-stop central and centrally-searchable repository. I'm not looking to create extra admin work for the already-busy PG team, but pulling this all together in some way would avoid duplication, increase consistency, and maybe allow for removal of obsolete/superseded prior guidance. Maybe this already exists to a degree, but if so it could be enhanced. Maybe links in the manual to the video URLs if they are somewhat static? Just a thought.

If you have any suggestions for future videos, please let us know! This is the second thread PG has created to advocate "suggestions for future videos" in recent memory, the first even dublicated for both platform sections. In both there has been feedback submitted with sugestions regarding the Usertrack concept, and yet there's so far no indication of providing what's now being asked for twice over (actually quite a lot more often than that, in this particular case). Makes us wonder why we should even bother coming up with suggestions in the first place when, even when you ask for them they just remain ignored. Fortunately this thread has other informational values, regarding other aspects of PG's product entirely, which saves it from being a complete waste of space.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
