Here is a new song. We just came out of a very cold snap (-37 C) here on Friday and (0 C) today.

Ice Cold Winter Blues

Real Bass 1922 Bass Electric
Real Drums-BluesRock 128^6
Real Piano 1923: Guitar Electric
RT673:OrganB3,Background
Had to add in a 5 band equalizer and pull the highs down a bit the guitar was a bit to bright for me.

Instrument
Gibson Les Paul R9 1999
Purdy Blonde 2x10 Amp
Boss DD-20 delay.

Dear "Scottt709"...

Ma-a-a-nnn, yo' "Ice Cold Winter Blues" is so chilly, ah had to put on a pair a' gloves, wool socks, a fur hat, and THEN had to throw salt down on the ground to keep from slippin' on all dat dere ice! :-)

All kidding aside, them was some mean blues!!! I dig them, highly...

Scott,

At 4:30 am here in Melbourne on my headphones, this is sounding really great. I love the tone of the guitar and your playing is super..... very bluesy, excellent lyrical phrasing, classy.

May Christmas bring good things your way,
Noel

Scott,

You certainly warmed me up with your smooth blues playing!

Enjoyed the song and the sweet tone of that Les Paul with the Purdy amp.

Great stuff,
Jez

Scott, I feel ole BB looking over shoulder in those notes. That's real blues when you transmit "feeling" in the notes to the listener! You've done it here. Thanks, Torrey

Very cool indeed!! Beautifully played. Most guitar players, even great ones, cannot evoke such emotion. Awesome!! Take care. Greg

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
