Man, this is about as pro-as it gets! Again a crystal-clear mix. This also must be Janice's best vocals so far.
A Keeper!!
Rob Gotta love that review! Thanks a bunch, Rob...

Now that's a nice song and a good job.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

This is a great vehicle for Janice's great vocals. It's so in the pocket. Professional in every way. Great mix and production. Have to send some kudos out to Bud - Vocals are so crystal clear.
A nice storyline, mindful a bit of Holly Dunn or even something Tom T. Hall would have written in the day.
I think this would have worked as a bluegrass tune as well.
Enjoyed it from start to finish.
Charlie Charlie - I agree! Janice did a heck of a job on this! And references to Dunn and Hall seem right on the money (and appreciated) - Lisa's eye for detail is a big part of that - she is a very intelligent writer.... Thanks for stopping in...

This flows beautifully.

Rob Thanks Rob. That is very kind of you to say that! Janice To all you 3: This is lovely! ROG hit the mark on all points- I can only add that, as a career landscaper and builder of the family garden, this is the song I wish my kids had written for me!
Robert Thanks Robert! Janice

So beautifully written!! This is what country music always tries to achieve and doesn't always get there. It is sweet and sincere but not sappy or trite. It is a tribute to the father, a tale of hard work to make a dream come true, and a heartfelt love of a girl for her father. BEAUTIFUL!! AND, Janice kills it, of course-awesome vocal! Great stuff guys! Take care. Greg You always say the NICEST things! We thank you, Greg... Nice how you caught those 3 meanings...

Hello, floyd
Very lovely song with a little folk rock feeling. The chord progression of I - VIm - IV - V7 is the royal road of pops. Very straight and favorable fitted to this tune. Great vocals as always by Janice. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi Shigeki Adachi - thank you...we appreciate that... Wow, it doesn't get any better. Great write, Janice of course is outstanding as usual, and the production is totally pro.
Sounds like a hit to me!
Dave - how could we not love this review!

Floyd / Janice,
Really beautiful... Stunning vocal by Janice.
Loved it!
Bob We appreciate that, Bob... Loved the lyrics to this song. Loved the story. Awesome collaboration. Super vocal, backtrack and harmonies. Thanks, Scott... Hi Floyd and Lisa.
With so many songs having similar story-lines, it's really nice when someone comes up with something new.
This is SO original and yet at the same time, so engaging and so absorbing.
As usual, Floyd, a super backing and so professional.
As usual, Janice, I'm entranced by your captivating voice.
Beautiful.
ROG.
+1! Thanks, Josie! (you haven't been around much lately... hope all is well)

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
