A song of tribute and honor to a friend who finally ended a long battle with cancer and went to her eternal reward in heaven. Her faith and positive outlook on life was like a bright light that shined on all those who knew her. I want to take up that light and help others. That's the inspiration for this song. I hope it lifts the faith of all who listen. Lyrics are in the YouTube video.
Thanks, Torrey

A wonderful song, Torrey, thank you. On the right on the YouTube page was "Feel You In The Wind", so I listened to it, too, and enjoyed it.

Torrey,

I enjoyed the ebb and flow of this song - it sounds marvellously Beatlesque to me. The production is very well done and your vocal, especially on the chorus and harmonies, as good as I`ve come to expect from you.
A fine and uplifting tribute.

Very, very nice, Torrey! Great tribute to Dana. What a legacy to inspire such a powerful song. And the message is great.

As to the music, I love the "Beatle-esque" feel to it. Great arrangement, and your vocals really shine.

Thanks for sharing.

Blessings to you,

Steve

Torrey, what a beautiful song...a very sad subject and my condolences to you for the loss of your friend.

It's just flawless, Torrey. Love the message, your voice, instruments, and the production/mix. So much great stuff going on in that music.

Beautiful song and tribute. I hear so many elements of the music that I've
loved all my life, ELO, Beatles, the production is among the best I've heard
here on this forum. Touching write, excellent job on this.

Agree with all of this!! Strings/drums/vocals are very Beatle-esque (right out of the Sgt. Pepper era). This is wonderful music and a great tribute. Awesome!! Take care. Greg

Hello, Torrey

Very nice and beautiful tune!
And very Beatles-like.
The chord progression of the starting is wonderful.
Your vocals and chorus are excellent.
Strings of the ending are also effective.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Torrey,

What a wonderful tribute to and celebration of your friend's courage and strength. I found the lyrics very moving. In addition, the music, your arrangement, your singing and your production are outstanding. Everything sounded radio-ready professional to me.

As others before me have noted, there is definitely a Beatles vibe that threads its way throughout the composition and the arrangement. It suits the song incredibly well.

You and Ron have done a great job.

Regards to you both,
Noel

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
