I took the String Quartet track and analyzed it in Melodyne, turning it into a MIDI file which I then directed to some orchestral strings patch--which then played along with the original Quartet. I think there is probably an easier way of getting the "underlying MIDI" for the Realtracks (Realcharts?), but at the time, I didn't know how.

Imported into SONAR and started whittling away. Vocals by me and, again, helped by Melodyne. I usually "double" my vocal with the original "pitch-challenged" vocal and the Melodyne- adjusted one--since for FAWM I'm pretty much hurrying through and doing a vocal in 1 take.

Gotta love that generated sax solo. <3

I really liked the driving beat, which sat perfectly, not too in front, and not lost in the background

Excellent solo, just the right amount of everything.

This is a really superb number. You must be very pleased.

Nice write, vocal and production. We enjoyed the backstory on how you put it together. Even sans the quickie production it sounds very good on our monitors.
