My First BIAB song! My friend (Chris Noble) had began to write a poem which he gave to me for some help. I knew he liked country music and after a few alterations and the addition of 3 easy chords I came up with 'Nowhere Can You Be Seen' I placed the chords in BIAB and chose the style i liked best fitted with the way I I had in mind. Although still finding my way around BIAB/RB I hope you will enjoy it as much as he did. https://soundcloud.com/yorkshireknight/nowhere-can-you-be-seenTitle: Fiddle Soloist CountryShuffleRob Sw 120 Demo File:_FIDSHUF Demo (ALL REALTRACKS-Fiddle,Shuffle,Medium w Band).SGU Mxcraft 7 for mixing levels and Mastering (I use that term loosely, Its an another art all initself and Im still learning) slight compression and plate reverb Audacity for final output to MP3 PS Forgot to mention my new Rode NT1 condensor mic Any Hints tips on my future recordings will be gladly accepted and attempted to apply. Nowhere can you be seen.
How much do you love me, maybe not at all? You never want to see me, whenever I come to call My heart is all in pieces and taht I can't deny So if you want to break my heart, then simply say goodbye When we were young, you were, the prettiest girl in town You never missed a chance back then, my love to put me down But I was blind, I just enjoyed the attention you bestowed And I fantasised that you were mine, and although it never showed, ChorusNowhere can you be seen you’ve gone from here, it’s true You left me with a broken heart, my world has all turned blue I pray at least you found your love, and happiness is yours But as for me, I sit and dream, and pass away the hours The nights are long, I lie awake, I'm longing for your touch If only you had realised, I loved you oh so much My boyhood dreams, my hopes, my fears, were bundled up in you But like the dawn, you disappeared now all my days are blue Chorus x2

Good song! I would never have guessed this was your first BIAB song if you hadn't said so in the song description.
Mix sounds good here through the phones too.

A very accomplished piece from a novice, well done! You already seem to know your way around recording software, excellently engineered.

Wow ! I never expected such a welcome to the forum. (didn't ceaser get a similar one? before the 'Ides of March' )I jest of course! Thank you all for your truly wonderful and inspiring comments. They brought a few tears to my eyes ( I always was a softie at heart) To be honest I struggled with the mixing mastering progress but I am really gobsmacked by the way you have recieved the final outcome of my efforts.
I know I still have a lot to learn and look forward to sharing my future songs. Once again thank you all and to the ongoing and in depth support you give to us 'newbies' while trying to learn the ins and outs of music making with BIAB/RB.

Yorkshireknight,
You've done a great job with this. It's pretty clear that you really enjoy singing. I commend you on what you did with BIAB, the way you mixed and arranged the song and how you performed... a very engaging listen indeed.
It's two thumbs up from me.
Welcome to the forum. What a terrific start!
All the best Noel

Can't find anything wrong with that.
What a great first effort.
This was a good listen from the start to the finish.
Top melody. Top lyrics.

I'm sorry not to have replied sooner to the latest post replies.
Once again I am overjoyed at the continued response from such esteemed musicians, writers and composers.
Indeed, I am in the process of making my second BIAB song and shall post as soon as finished. Until then many thanks for your interest, support and inspiration.
